This is an exciting and valuable asset for the school. (See
Richardson PS (ACT) Review for examples of SmartBoard use in the classroom.)
Requirements
- SmartBoard software freely
downloadable from Smart Technologies (
http://www.smarttech.com/ ), or CD ROM 172 Mb
- Use data projector (XGA) preferably roof mounted
- Dont bump the stand as the mouse goes out of alignment
(reorientate if you bump it)
- Use finger or SmartBoard pens only all SmartBoard pens
must stay on stand if using fingers as mouse or use only one SmartBoard pen at
a time when using as pens.
- It is not a normal whiteboard. Use only SmartBoard pens
do not lose SmartBoard pens.
