Science and Technology

At Horsham Primary School, our Science and Technology program encourages curiosity, creativity, and hands-on exploration. Students investigate how the world works through engaging lessons that develop their understanding of scientific concepts, while also building their design and problem-solving skills.

In Science, students explore topics such as biological, chemical, physical, and Earth sciences, learning through observation, experimentation, and inquiry-based activities. In Technology, students use the design process to plan, create, test, and refine solutions to real-world problems using a variety of tools, materials, and digital technologies.

Our integrated approach helps students connect their learning to everyday life and understand the impact of science and technology on the world around them. The program fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and resilience, preparing students to become innovative and informed citizens of the future.
